Ryanair Engineering Delivered by PAM Ireland Ltd has an exciting opportunity for Aircraft Mechanics to join our team in our facility at Hangar 5, Shannon Airport. Reporting to the Check/Zone Supervisor, the successful candidates will join a team contributing to the safe maintenance of a fleet of 600+ aircraft.

Qualifications

• A recognised apprenticeship or traineeship within the aircraft industry is essential.
• Experience in heavy maintenance and base maintenance activities.
• Experience on Boeing 737 NG / MAX is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good computer literacy with Word, Excel, etc.
• Flexible approach to work in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring aircraft documentation is completed and certified in accordance with MOE and company procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Adherence to all company procedures, regulations, and safe working practices
• Carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by the Check/Zone Supervisor.
• Maintain awareness and ensure best practices are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the completion of routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring aircraft documentation is completed and certified in accordance with the MOE and company procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Adherence to all company procedures, regulations, and safe working practices
• Carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by the Check/Zone Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A recognised apprenticeship or traineeship within the aircraft industry is essential.
• Previous hands-on heavy maintenance experience along with extensive knowledge of base maintenance activities.
• Experience in working as an aircraft mechanic on Boeing 737 NG / MAX is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Good Computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, excel etc.
• Flexible approach to work in a fast-changing environment

This role is Shift Work. Day Shift 7am-7pm and Night Shift 7pm-7am.12-hour rotating shift of 5 on / 3 off, 4 on / 4 off. You will work 2,080 hours per annum, averaging 40 hours per week.
