Job summary

Ergomed invites an experienced Cloud Architect to lead Azure architecture, governance, and cost‑effective operation across the organization. You will design reusable IaC templates, ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA, and collaborate with DevOps, security and business teams to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions.

Based in Ireland, this role offers the chance to shape Ergomed's cloud strategy, optimize cost, and drive best practices across projects while mentoring

Qualifications

• Extensive IT infra or cloud architecture experience with hands-on Azure design.
• Ability to design reusable IaC templates (Bicep, Terraform, ARM).
• Strong cost management and governance knowledge in Azure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure project architecture and review designs for strong foundations.
• Analyze current infra for cost reductions and migration paths.
• Improve Azure cost management with budgets, alerts, and reservations.
• Create and maintain IaC templates for new workloads.
• Identify architecture gaps and drive resolution with teams.
• Develop cloud governance frameworks and security policies.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure tagging, naming, and subscription standards.
• Maintain compliance evidence for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / HIPAA.
• Oversee deployments for scalability and disaster recovery.
