Job summary

Cyber Ireland is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, and secure scalable cloud infrastructures in Azure. You will implement IaC (Terraform/ARM Templates), automate deployments, and guide junior engineers while aligning with Azure security standards.

This role focuses on building robust cloud architectures, logging, data pipelines, and secure deployments, with emphasis on operational efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Strong IaC practices using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Proven ability to implement CI/CD for cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure best practices.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure projects, balancing operational efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Hands on experience with scalable log ingestion and data pipelines, including migration and onboarding of diverse data sources across security platform.
• Drive the adoption of IaC frameworks using Terraform, ARM Templates.
• Automate cloud deployments, including network, storage, compute, and monitoring resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and management of infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers in Azure best practices, IaC, and cloud architecture design.
• Design and implement robust security practices and policies in line with Azure’s security standards (e.g., Azure Security Center, Key Vault).
