Job summary

Ergomed is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead Azure architecture, governance, and cost-efficient operations. You will design reusable IaC templates, drive cost management, and ensure regulatory compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA.

Collaborating with DevOps, security, and business teams, you translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions, maintain standards for tagging and naming, and oversee deployments for reliability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT infrastructure or cloud architecture experience with hands-on Azure design.
• Hands-on Azure expertise: landing zones, management groups, networking, identity, storage.
• Experience creating reusable deployment templates using IaC (Bicep, Terraform, ARM).
• Knowledge of Azure cost management and Advisor benefits.
• Experience enforcing cloud governance: Azure Policy, RBAC, tagging.
• Experience maintaining compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Ability translating designs into operational requirements with IT Operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.
• Familiarity with GxP and GAMP5 for regulated cloud systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure architecture and review designs for repeatable foundations.
• Analyze current infra for optimization and migration paths to cloud.
• Drive cost management: budgets, alerts, reservations and optimization.
• Build reusable IaC templates to provision workloads consistently.
• Identify and resolve architecture gaps with teams to close blockers.
• Develop and maintain cloud governance and security standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and stakeholders on solution architectures.
• Maintain tagging, naming, and subscription-structure standards across the tenant.
• Ensure compliance evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA.
• Oversee deployments for scalability, reliability, and disaster recovery.
