Job summary

Uisce Éireann IT Security & Cloud teams seek an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement and operate secure, scalable cloud solutions across Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will collaborate with EA, IT operations, and security to align roadmaps with the organisation’s strategy.

The role emphasizes architecture governance, IaC, DevOps practices with Terraform and Azure DevOps, and guiding cloud transformation initiatives across a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in solution, cloud or infra architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or OCI.
• Experience shaping cloud transformation in a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EA strategy to create scalable cloud architectures.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is cost-effective and secure.
• Maintain architecture models, baselines, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with IT teams to align solutions with strategy.
• Oversee design patterns and transition capabilities to operations.
