Job summary

Archer Recruitment Pte Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Software Architect - Tech Lead to shape the technology strategy for a major international insurance business operating across Dublin, London and Bermuda.

You will lead engineering teams, define architectural patterns and steer the transition to cloud-native, Azure-first systems, including AI integration into the SDLC and applications. Collaborate with Head of Software and QA to ensure robust delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Architect or Technical Lead at a senior level.
• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience modernising legacy environments and delivering Azure-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape software architecture, engineering practices and code patterns.
• Lead the shift from legacy platforms to modern Azure-based architecture.
• Design scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions.
• Work with Azure Functions and orchestration in distributed systems.
• Drive integration of AI into SDLC and enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and align with leadership.
