Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Ireland is seeking an AI Architect / AI Engineering Lead to design and build production-grade autonomous and multi-agent AI systems.

You will shape enterprise AI architecture, lead engineering across requirements, coding, testing, CI/CD, and deliver scalable AI-enabled workflows in cloud environments.

Healthcare and claims adjudication experience is a valuable advantage, with a focus on integrating AI into complex software development lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering/DevOps.
• Hands-on with production-grade LLM/agentic AI solutions.
• Strong Java/J2EE and Spring Boot development.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of agentic AI and multi-agent AI systems.
• Experience with LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with LangGraph and LangChain.
• Experience with Claude and Claude Code.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development.
• Strong Azure experience and cloud-based AI architectures.
• Solid CI/CD and DevOps experience.
• Strong architectural thinking, leadership, and communication.
• Healthcare/claims adjudication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of autonomous and multi-agent AI systems.
• Provide technical leadership across enterprise AI architecture and delivery.
• Design and implement AI agents supporting software development workflows (requirements, coding, testing, CI/CD).
• Develop and integrate LLM- and RAG-based solutions using modern agentic frameworks.
• Apply LangGraph, LangChain, Claude, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot in workflows.
• Collaborate across software engineering, DevOps, and cloud environments for scalability and production readiness.
• Contribute to architecture decisions spanning backend/frontend/cloud and delivery pipelines.
• Drive best practices for AI engineering, multi-agent orchestration, and development automation.
