Archer in Dublin/London is seeking an Azure-focused Software Architect/Technical Lead to drive cloud modernisation and architectural direction across teams in Dublin, London and Bermuda. The role focuses on hands-on leadership to transform legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native Azure platforms while mentoring engineers and shaping engineering standards.

Senior technical leader with Azure-focused software architecture experience.
Proven ability to modernise legacy platforms into cloud-native Azure solutions.
Experience guiding microservices and distributed systems; mentoring engineers.

Responsabilidades

Define and evolve software architecture, design patterns and engineering standards.
Lead the modernisation of legacy platforms towards scalable, cloud-native Azure solutions.
Guide the design and implementation of microservices, APIs and distributed systems.
Apply Azure expertise across Functions, orchestration and cloud-based application development.
Champion modern software engineering practices, code quality and effective development workflows.
Identify opportunities to integrate AI into development processes and enterprise applications.
Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
Collaborate with Software, QA and Enterprise Architecture leadership to align technical decisions with business needs.
