Job summary

State Street is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead a diverse team responsible for interim and annual financial statements for alternative investments, including Hedge, Private Equity, Real Estate, and Exchange funds. You will coordinate with clients, auditors and offshore teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

You will guide process improvements, implement technology solutions, and foster development opportunities for staff while controlling costs and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field required.
• Six+ years in alternative funds fund administration, accounting, audit, or related activity.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience leading a diverse team and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse group of personnel including Senior Managers in interim/annual financial statements for alternative investments.
• Oversee procedure reviews, control expenses and minimize loss and risk.
• Lead projects to enhance operational efficiency through technology.
• Coach and develop staff, allocate resources, and handle personnel issues.
• Manage relationships with clients, auditors, and internal teams to meet requests.
