Job summary

State Street is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead a diverse team in preparing interim and annual financial statements for alternative investments, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate disclosures. You will coordinate with clients, auditors and offshore teams to finalize statements and filings.

You will drive process improvements, implement technology enhancements, and manage key relationships with clients, leveraging extensive GAAP/IFRS knowledge and SEC familiarity.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Business, or related field. CPA or MBA is preferred.
• Six or more years of experience in alternative funds fund administration function (financial reporting preferred) or accounting, audit or related business activity

Responsibilities

• Manage interim/annual financial statements for alternative investments products (Hedge, Private Equity, Real Estate & Exchange funds).
• Extensive experience managing complex relationships.
• Lead/participate in projects to enhance operational efficiency through technology and other means. Implement improvements to procedures and control expenses.
• Plan, develop and deliver major initiatives in collaboration with clients and support teams.
• Manage implementation of standard practices, processes, tools and technology enhancements.
• Oversee client relationships to ensure requests are met and satisfaction levels.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff and allocate resources.
