Job summary

Aer Lingus is seeking an M&E Graduate based in Dublin to develop early-career talent through structured learning and practical, on‑the‑job experience in the Maintenance & Engineering Department.

You will work on airworthiness of A320/A321/A330, support audits, risk assessments, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives while transitioning from student life to professional work. The role involves day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve or have recently completed a relevant Engineering Degree (aeronautical or related).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
• Self-motivated with initiative and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications; knowledge of PowerBI/Analytics is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage transitions from student life to work life.
• English fluency; eligible to live and work in the EU; valid passport.
• Pass a five-year security background check; provide three verifiable references.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing airworthiness of A320, A321 and A330 aircraft.
• Assess ICA, ADs, SBs, VSBs, CMMs and other directives.
• Oversee and review modification/repair approvals.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Standards to close audit findings.
• Prepare business cases and conduct risk assessments as needed.
• Generate reports on reliability metrics and dispatch reliability.
• Collaborate with OEMs for root cause analysis and resolution.
• Support transformation programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage in reliability improvement projects as required.
