Job summary

Ryanair Group Holdings is recruiting a Maintenance Programme Engineer to join Europe's Largest Airline Group. This desk-based role offers the option to be based in our Engineering Office in Dublin or Madrid, reporting to the Maintenance Programs Manager.

The role focuses on reviewing MPD and MRB, ensuring the maintenance program is optimised for safety and dispatch reliability, and developing reports to support programme improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with experience writing or reviewing technical instructions.
• Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
• Understanding of aviation maintenance regulations (EASA Part M/Part CAMO/Part 145).
• Experience in Technical Services or CAMO role preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance program optimisation methods (MSG-3, SASMO, OPTIMA) advantageous.
• Familiarity with Boeing 737 systems and Airbus A320 would be an asset.
• Good teamwork and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review MPD and MRB to implement into Ryanair's Group Maintenance Program for B737NG/8200/A320/CL 3500 fleets.
• Ensure maintenance program maintains high safety levels and dispatch reliability.
• Work with CAME and company procedures.
• Review heavy maintenance findings and identify repeat solutions.
• Submit and obtain aviation authority approvals as required.
• Develop detailed reports to optimise maintenance programs.
• Provide input to industry steering committees for MRB/MPD improvements.
• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Program Manager.

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Programme Engineer to join Europe's Largest Airline Group!

This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Programs Manager. This role is a desk-based role and has the option to be based in our Engineering Office in Dublin or Madrid.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to kick start their career in Ryanair.

The Role:

• Review of the Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) and Maintenance Review Board (MRB) to ensure accurate implementation into the Ryanair's Group Maintenance Program for B737NG/8200/A320 /CL 3500 fleets, as applicable.
• Ensure that the maintenance program is optimised to maintain the high safety levels, excellent dispatch reliability and avoid/ mitigate operational impact of in-service defects;
• Work in accordance with Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), company manual procedures
• Review of Heavy Maintenance findings and the identification of solutions for repeat occurrences;
• Submission and obtaining of Aviation Authority approval of the Ryanair's Group Maintenance Programs when required;
• Development of detailed reports to support the optimisation of the Ryanair's Maintenance Programs;
• Providing input to the B737NG/8200/A320 Industry Steering Committee (ISC) regarding on-going optimisation of the MRB/MPD;
• Additional responsibilities may be delegated periodically by the Maintenance Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineering Degree or EASA Part 66 maintenance license
• Experience in a Technical Services / CAMO role or Engine MRO would be preferable.
• Understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulation
• Technical knowledge of Boeing 737 systems and/or Airbus 320 experience would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of MSG-3 & Maintenance Program optimisation methodologies (e.g. SASMO, OPTIMA) would be an advantage;
• Sound knowledge of EASA regulatory requirements;
• Good working knowledge of AMOS would be preferable.
