Qualifications

• Substantial experience within freight forwarding.
• Previous experience managing a branch, department or significant operational team.
• Strong knowledge of air, ocean and/or road freight operations.
• Experience managing budgets, profitability and operational performance.
• Clear understanding of freight forwarding margins and commercial decision-making.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Confidence to identify and support commercial growth opportunities.
• Hands-on management style with strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the performance of the Dublin branch.
• Lead and develop air, ocean and road freight operations.
• Manage branch revenue, profitability, budgets and financial targets.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity and service levels.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Recruit and retain freight forwarding professionals; identify process improvements.
