Job summary

OIA Global in Dublin is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee freight operations and lead the Dublin branch team with autonomy over workflow, data integrity and customer service. You will drive operational excellence while maintaining compliance with regulations and aligning with branch targets.

You will manage financial disciplines, develop relationships with customers and partners, and coach the team to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in freight forwarding is essential.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
• Motivate staff to deliver operational excellence and outstanding service at all times.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork to guide the operations team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of freight operations with autonomy on workflow and data integrity.
• Lead the Dublin branch operations and drive customer service quality.
• Ensure compliance with freight forwarding and customs regulations.
• Manage pricing negotiations to maximise profitability.
• Coordinate with Finance on CODs, aged debt and queries.
