Job summary
Sony Interactive Entertainment in Dublin is seeking a Solutions Engineer to build and improve employee technology automations and integrations. You will work with senior engineers to deliver components and use production feedback to enhance them.
You will develop scripts and API integrations, test and document configurations, monitor components, and troubleshoot with cross‑functional teams. A strong background in Python/PowerShell/JavaScript and experience with APIs is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience building and supporting scripts, integrations, or components.
- Proficient in Python/PowerShell/JavaScript and API usage.
- Ability to test, troubleshoot, document, and improve work.
- Strong collaborative problem solving and communication.
- Experience with source control and deployment processes.
- Interest in telemetry and automation for employee support.
Responsibilities
- Develop scripts, integrations, workflows, and platform configurations.
- Implement detection, remediation steps, validation, and logging.
- Write tests; document configuration, limitations, and recovery steps.
- Monitor components and improve reliability from production feedback.
- Build integrations across platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, Slack, and more.
