Job summary

Ipsen Dublin is seeking an Automation (Control Systems) Engineer to join our Operational Technology team. You will support process automation hardware/software, plan upgrades, and lead continuous improvement initiatives at a premier GMP site.

The role focuses on PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems, with hands-on experience in WinCC, iFix, InTouch, PCS7, and BMS platforms. Strong communication and leadership are essential for collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation & Controls or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial process automation within Life Science/BioPharma facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for process automation systems hardware and software.
• Plan and deliver Control Systems upgrades and small-to-medium projects.
• Troubleshoot, root-cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Maintain GxP Computerised System Lifecycle processes and site EHS policies.
