Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an I&C Engineer II to provide automation expertise for pharmaceutical and biotech projects. You will contribute to design, engineering, and construction of process control systems, collaborating with IPS teams and clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
10+ years in industrial process control including DCS/PLC/SCADA, pharma instrumentation.
Experience with cGMP and GAMP automation lifecycles.
Excellent interpersonal skills with senior-level contacts.

Responsibilities

Provide automation engineering support for moderate to complex process projects.
Develop URS based on customer needs.
Collaborate with process design and project teams to study execution.
Design and specify DCS, PLC, and SCADA-based control systems.
Work with client to develop control concepts and architectures.
Identify and coordinate with third-party system integrators.
Prepare or review construction budgets based on scope.
Promote company design and production standards.
Support business development through proposals and marketing docs.
Assist in P&IDs, FRS, and control requirements development.
Coordinate with end users and OEMs on automation applications.
Support risk assessments (SIL, LOPA, HAZOP).
Support IQ/OQ development and validation activities.
