Job summary

Nexus, part of the Tigers Childcare group, seeks an experienced Early Years Educator in a specialist ASD setting. You will deliver individualised programmes, develop IEPs, and create a structured, supportive classroom where children feel safe and engaged.

The role requires Level 8 qualification in Special Education or related field, registration eligibility with the Teaching Council of Ireland, and experience with autism.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with autism or additional needs.
• Strong child-centred and autism-informed teaching approach.
• Eligible for registration with Teaching Council of Ireland.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised teaching programmes to support communication and development.
• Develop and implement IEPs to drive measurable outcomes.
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment where children feel safe and engaged.
• Use evidence-based approaches to support behaviour and independence.
