Nexus, part of the Tigers Childcare group in Lucan, is hiring an Early Years Educator in a specialist autism-informed setting. This is a full-time, permanent role with a €34,000 annual salary.

• Level 8 qualification (or higher) in Special Education, Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, SocialCare or related discipline.
• Eligible for registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
• Experience supporting children with autism and/or additional needs.
• Strong understanding of child-centred and autism-informed practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A calm, patient and professional approach to supporting children with diverse needs.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver individualised teaching programmes to support each child’s communication and development.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to drive measurable outcomes.
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that enables children to feel safe and ready to learn.
• Use evidence-based approaches to support behaviour, independence and emotional regulation.
• Work closely with Behaviour Support colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and effective interventions.
• Build strong relationships with families to support each child’s development both in the classroom and at home.
• Contribute to a collaborative, professional team environment focused on quality.
