Berkley Group in Limerick is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, working with Partners, Directors and wider teams to deliver high-quality audits across various sectors.

You will manage engagements, oversee billing and cash collection, and mentor junior staff while upholding audit methodology and accounting standards. A professional accountancy qualification with PQE around five years is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Approx. 5 years post-qualification audit experience, preferably in medium or large practice.
• Strong audit and technical accounting skills with commercial focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to influence and build credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with multi-priority management.
• Experience mentoring junior and newly qualified staff.
• Strategic, analytical and commercially minded problem-solver.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients across sectors, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Lead audit engagements, coordinating with Partners, Directors and wider teams.
• Ensure adherence to audit methodology, accounting standards and quality controls.
• Manage team resources, workloads and deadlines for efficient engagements.
• Oversee client billing, fees and cash collection across the portfolio.
• Mentor, train and support junior staff throughout engagements.
• Provide input on advisory and technical accounting projects (acquisitions, business planning, framework changes).
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate with tax, advisory and other specialists.
