Job summary

GPC Finance in Ireland seeks an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant to join a South Dublin team. The role covers audit, accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services for SME and owner-managed clients, with a collaborative and supportive culture.

The successful candidate will oversee audits, management accounts, and statutory statements, advise clients, and help drive growth with a proactive approach. Hybrid working and ongoing CPD support are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with Chartered Accountant designation.
• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in a practice.
• Strong experience in accounts preparation and client portfolio management.
• Proven exposure to audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Experience preparing management accounts and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients as primary contact.
• Lead and manage audit assignments for larger clients from planning to completion.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Provide outsourced accounting support with timely financial reporting.
• Oversee VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax compliance.
• Ensure deadlines are met with high service and technical accuracy.
• Build strong client relationships and identify value-adding opportunities.
