We're looking for an Audit Director to help lead and grow our Audit & Assurance is a key leadership role that bridges our Partners and audit teams, with significant responsibility for client relationships, quality, people development, and business growth. For the right individual, the role offers a clear pathway to Partner, including future equity participation opportunities.
Lead a portfolio of audit and assurance clients across a range of SME and owner-managed businesses. Oversee audit planning, execution, and completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and audit matters. Deliver commercially focused insights that add value beyond compliance.
Work with Partners and the Head of Compliance to maintain the highest audit and regulatory standards. Identify key business and financial reporting risks and help clients address them effectively. Drive continuous improvement in audit methodology, processes, and client service.
Build trusted relationships with business owners and senior management teams. Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce wider Strata services. Support business development initiatives, proposals, and networking activities.
Lead, mentor, and develop audit managers, seniors, and trainees. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality and client service. Support recruitment, succession planning, and the development of future leaders.
ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification. Significant audit experience within practice, including leadership of audit engagements and teams. Strong technical knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards. Proven ability to build and manage senior client relationships. Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
