Job summary

Moore Ireland is seeking an Associate Director in Audit at our Dun Laoghaire office. You will lead engagements, manage teams and client relationships, and drive profitability while upholding high audit standards.

You will bring 4+ years post-qualification auditing experience in Ireland, with ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications, and strong business acumen. The role offers career progression within a respected firm.

Qualifications

• 4+ years post-qualification experience in auditing Irish companies.
• ACA, ACCA or other accounting qualification.
• Strong business acumen and advisory mindset.
• Experience leading teams and presenting to senior management.
• Excellent report writing and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement planning, staffing, and workflow management to meet deadlines.
• Manage engagement budgets, billing, recoverability and cash collection targets.
• Support Partners in business development, proposals and tender submissions.
• Lead and review complex audit engagements within budget and time constraints.
• Provide technical oversight and quality review of audit files.
• Identify non-compliance with auditing standards and escalate accordingly.
• Review and approve statutory financial statements for clients.
• Act as primary contact for a portfolio of clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Mentor and develop managers, senior staff and trainees; contribute to performance reviews.
