Job summary

GitLab is seeking an Associate Solutions Architect for its SMB EMEA Sales team. You’ll be a trusted advisor, guiding customers through GitLab’s DevSecOps platform from planning to deployment, across on-premise and cloud environments.

You’ll own technical evaluations, run workshops, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform adoption and revenue growth while delivering measurable value.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in pre-sales or consulting engaging with customers.
• Familiarity with end-to-end software development lifecycle and DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and deployment options.
• Ability to run workshops and design proofs of value.
• Strong technical communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English; German or French desired.

Responsibilities

• Drive value and change with software development and platform adoption.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, Marketing.
• Lead onboarding, knowledge sharing, and shadowing.
• Own technical evaluations, POC/POV and workshops.
• Build relationships and advocate for customers internally.
• Guide as voice of the customer to Product and Sales.
