This is an exciting opportunity for talented and motivated graduates to join the ISIF division of the NTMA on a 23-month Associate Programme commencing in September 2027. The programme is open to graduates with a degree in Finance / Economics / Commerce / Accounting / Law / Science / Computer Science / Mathematics / Engineering or a related discipline .

The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) division:

The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) sources and completes investments on a commercial basis in a manner designed to support economic activity and employment in Ireland. This strategy focuses on long-term transformational investments addressing key strategic challenges facing the country. These include climate action, housing and enabling infrastructure, scaling indigenous businesses, and food and agriculture. In addition, ISIF has flexibility to invest in national and compelling investments in response to future events. See www.isif.ie for more detail. Alongside its portfolio of Irish focused investments, ISIF maintains a diversified public markets portfolio (the ISIF Funding Portfolio) which provides liquidity to fund ISIF’s ongoing commitments while contributing to ISIF’s net returns.

Within the ISIF unit, there are three distinct functions: Investment, Portfolio Management, and Operations.

The Associate will work in ISIF’s Investment function, (either in the Irish portfolio or the ISIF Funding Portfolio) alongside colleagues across the full range of ISIF's investment, portfolio management, and operational activities. By the end of the programme, successful candidates will have developed a strong knowledge base across all areas of the ISIF team and the investment process. This may include experience in research, due diligence, and evaluation of investment opportunities, measuring, monitoring, and managing key aspects of the portfolio, such as risk management, asset allocation, investment performance, ESG considerations, and data analytics.

At the end of the programme the successful Associate will have developed a solid knowledge base of the ISIF unit and the wider NTMA.
