Lex Consultancy Ltd in Dublin is seeking an Associate Director Global Payroll to lead payroll delivery for multinational clients, spanning domestic and international operations. The role involves coordinating with international teams and external partners, handling complex queries and driving transitions from other providers.
You will mentor payroll professionals, manage projects including audits and automation, and ensure KPI and SLA compliance.

Lead and oversee domestic and international payroll delivery for multinational clients. Coordinate payroll processing with international payroll teams and external partners. Act as a senior escalation point for complex payroll queries and issues. Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. Lead new client implementations and transitions from existing payroll providers. Manage payroll projects, including audits, automation and process improvement initiatives. Monitor KPIs, SLAs and overall service delivery. Lead, mentor and develop payroll professionals, including supporting recruitment and training. Manage team resources and workloads to ensure effective client delivery. Oversee payment validation, billing and client onboarding processes. Contribute to RFPs, tenders and client proposals. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, technology and service quality. Keep up to date with international payroll legislation, industry trends and technology.
You will ideally have: A recognised payroll qualification such as IPASS or equivalent. Significant payroll experience, ideally within an international or global environment. Proven experience leading and managing payroll teams. Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing complex payroll across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. A high level of professionalism, confidentiality and accountability.
International and/or high-volume payroll experience. Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing. Experience with payroll automation or process improvement. Experience managing payroll implementations and transitions. Experience working with multinational clients. Global Payroll Delivery experience. Payzaar or other global payroll platform experience.
