Private Markets | Dublin
We are recruiting an Assistant Vice President – Investor Services Change & Transformation for a leading international financial services organisation in Dublin.
This is a particularly attractive opportunity for an experienced Private Markets Investor Services / Transfer Agency professional who wants to move away from day-to-day BAU and into a dedicated change and operational improvement role.
Importantly, this position sits entirely outside BAU. There are no day-to-day Investor Services processing responsibilities.
The role forms part of a wider business transformation programme and will focus specifically on improving the Private Markets Investor Services operating model.
You will review existing processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies and operational risks, and help design and implement better ways of working.
Your remit will include:
This is a proactive improvement role rather than a traditional QA position. The focus is on identifying potential problems and improving processes before issues arise.
You are likely to currently work in Private Markets Investor Services, Transfer Agency or Fund Administration and have strong knowledge of alternative investment structures and investor servicing.
You do not need to currently have “Transformation”, “Change” or “Project Management” in your job title.
What matters is that you can demonstrate tangible examples where you have been involved in improving how work is done.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can show experience of:
Experience across Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Assets or other Private Markets structures would be particularly relevant.
Knowledge of areas such as investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, equalisation, investor reporting and payments would also be beneficial. Formal change, Lean, Six Sigma or project management qualifications are welcome but are not essential.
For someone currently working in a BAU Investor Services role, this offers the opportunity to use that operational knowledge in a very different way. Rather than processing the work yourself, you will be asking:
How can we do this better? Can we automate it? Can we remove manual steps? Can we strengthen the control? Can we make the process more scalable?
If you have strong Private Markets Investor Services experience and can point to examples where you have helped improve processes, systems or controls, we would be very interested in speaking with you.
