Job summary

A leading global fund services organisation is expanding its Alternative Funds business and is seeking an experienced Managers and Supervisors to manage a portfolio of clients and lead an Investor Services team.

You will take ownership of key client relationships while leading a team responsible for investor transactions, reporting and ongoing shareholder servicing. This position offers significant client exposure and progression within a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Six years in Investor Services, Transfer Agency or Shareholder Services.
• Experience within a fund administrator or alternatives environment.
• Strong knowledge of Hedge Funds or Private Assets.
• Experience in senior, supervisory or management roles.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own key client relationships and lead the Investor Services team.
• Manage investor transactions, reporting and shareholder services.
• Develop Supervisors, Senior Administrators and Administrators.
• Oversee subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls and distributions.
• Ensure investor reporting, NAV communications and shareholder records are accurate.
• Coordinate with Fund Accounting, AML/KYC, Treasury, Compliance and Legal.
• Lead client meetings, auditor visits and operational reviews.
• Monitor operational risk and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Conduct performance reviews and support recruitment and succession planning.
• Identify and implement process and service improvements.

Opportunities may be available across both Hedge Funds and Private Assets, including Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Estate.

THE ROLE

You will take ownership of key client relationships while leading a team responsible for investor transactions, reporting and ongoing shareholder servicing.

Responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the primary client contact and escalation point for Investor Services
• Leading and developing Supervisors, Senior Administrators and Administrators
• Managing daily workflows, deadlines, controls and service-level commitments
• Overseeing subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls and distributions
• Ensuring investor reporting, NAV communications and shareholder records are accurate
• Coordinating with Fund Accounting, AML/KYC, Treasury, Compliance and Legal
• Leading client meetings, auditor visits and operational reviews
• Monitoring operational risk and adherence to policies and procedures
• Conducting performance reviews and supporting recruitment and succession planning
• Identifying and implementing process and service improvements

THE PERSON

You will ideally have:

• At least six years’ experience within Investor Services, Transfer Agency or Shareholder Services
• Relevant experience gained within a fund administrator or alternatives environment
• Strong Hedge Fund and/or Private Assets knowledge
• Several years’ experience in a senior, supervisory or management position
• Proven responsibility for client relationships and operational delivery
• Strong knowledge of investor transactions, AML/KYC and reporting requirements
• The ability to lead teams, manage escalations and work effectively across departments
