Steering Point in South County Dublin seeks an Assistant to the CFO to support monthly management accounts, month-end close, audits, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, and cashflow monitoring.

The ideal candidate is a recently qualified ACA/ACCA with 1+ years PQE in financial services, possessing strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a continuous learning mindset; visa to work in Ireland is required.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including journals and reconciliations.
• Support statutory financial statements and audits.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls.
• Liaise with auditors and external advisors.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor spend and cashflow vs budget.
• Assist with financial modelling.
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders to understand revenue and costs.
