Job summary

Teamworx is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager for a busy Dublin city centre store within a rapidly expanding international retail brand. You will support the Store Manager to drive sales, lead a high-performing team and uphold excellent operational standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Deputy Manager.
• Background in grocery, pharmacy, discount, or high-volume retail.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Commercial awareness with sales, budgets and KPIs.
• Hands-on, proactive approach to store operations.
• Willingness to work weekends as part of a retail rota.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Lead, coach and motivate the team to hit sales and operational targets.
• Drive performance through KPI management.
• Maintain merchandising, stock control and store presentation.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training.
• Deliver consistently high customer service standards.
• Oversee store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Ensure policies and health and safety standards are followed.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
