Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Ireland to support cost management across a diverse project portfolio. You will assist in cost estimates, budgets, cost plans, tender analysis, and procurement, while measuring quantities and preparing bills of quantities.

Qualifications

Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Full eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
Support tender preparation, analysis, and procurement activities.
Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities where required.
Monitor project costs and assist with cost reporting.
Review contractor valuations and variations.
Assist in preparing financial and commercial reports for clients.
Work closely with senior quantity surveyors, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Willing to learn compliance with company procedures and industry best practices.
