Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS/MSCSI) to lead cost and commercial management across a portfolio of complex projects in Ireland. The role covers strategic cost leadership from inception through final account, ensuring robust financial control and value optimisation.

You will act as the commercial advisor to clients, manage risk, mentor junior staff, and uphold professional standards. The role supports a hybrid working culture with flexible opportunities.

Qualifications

• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS and/or MSCSI essential).
• Relevant years of experience in cost and commercial management.
• Strong experience across pre- and post-contract services.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, budgeting and commercial strategy for complex projects.
• Oversee pre- and post-contract services including valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Act as lead commercial interface with clients, contractors and design teams.
• Provide technical oversight and governance to ensure compliance with standards.
