Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MRICS/MSCSI) to lead cost and commercial management across complex construction and infrastructure projects.

You’ll provide pre- and post-contract leadership, advise on contracts, manage client interfaces, risk, and value engineering while mentoring junior QS staff.

Qualifications

• Chartered QS MRICS and/or MSCSI is essential.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in cost and commercial management.
• Knowledge of standard forms: NEC, GCCC/PW-CF, RIAI, FIDIC.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, benchmarking and budget establishment for projects.
• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities, cost plans and estimates.
• Provide procurement strategy advice and tender management.
• Administer contracts and assess variations / final accounts.
• Manage cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring.
• Lead and mentor junior QS and cost management staff.
