Fota Island Resort in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead a busy beverage operation across multiple outlets. You will manage staff, develop the beverage menu, monitor stock, and ensure high standards of service and compliance with licensing laws.

The role requires proven leadership, strong customer service, budgeting knowledge and the ability to work evenings and weekends as part of a luxury hotel team. Join our F&B management team to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.

• Proven experience as Bar Manager in hotel or busy bar with multiple outlets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including cocktail preparation and wine selection.
• Good financial understanding, including budgeting and stock control.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations of the bar outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol licensing laws and regulations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff.
• Create and maintain a high-quality beverage menu, including signature cocktails.
• Monitor inventory and place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Drive revenue through promotions, events and upselling techniques.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the bar area.

They will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintaining inventory, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a hotel or busy bar setting with multiple outlets
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including beverage menu development, cocktail preparation, wine selection and industry trends
• Strong customer service skills
• Good financial understanding, including budgeting and stock control
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
