Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Global Compliance and Reporting Services team. You will use your Spanish GAAP expertise to deliver practical solutions and high-quality financial reporting for multinational clients.

You will work with finance professionals in publicly listed companies, engage in international engagements, and mentor junior colleagues while meeting strict deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing Spanish GAAP financial statements.
• Ability to convert US GAAP or IFRS trial balances to Spanish GAAP.
• Experience with multinational clients in top 20 firms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver international compliance engagements focused on Spanish GAAP accounting and tax requirements.
• Convert US GAAP or IFRS trial balances to Spanish GAAP and prepare financial statements.
• Take ownership of financial statement preparation under Spanish GAAP and related frameworks.
• Develop technical accounting papers and training on Spanish GAAP for clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with clients and Grant Thornton colleagues across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
• Manage assignments to meet budgets, timelines and filing deadlines.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge.
