Center Parcs Longford Forest is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager / Senior Chef de Partie for the Sports Café, to support the Kitchen Manager in delivering exceptional food quality and service in a lively, family-friendly setting.

You will help lead the kitchen team, control costs, maintain high standards of food safety, and work within budget while covering shifts from 9am to 11pm and including weekends.

Competenze

• Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good financial awareness, including stock control, scheduling and waste management.
• Previous experience in a supervisory chef role (Chef de Partie or above).
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills under pressure.

Sports Café serves hearty meals and shows live sports in a lively, family-friendly setting.

Serve up the flavour that turns a good break into a great one

Join our Sports Café team as an Assistant Kitchen Manager, supporting the Kitchen Manager in delivering exceptional food quality and service. You'll help lead the kitchen team, ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain operational efficiency within budget.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in managing the kitchen team and daily operations
• Control food costs and margins to meet budget targets
• Maintain high food quality and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and prepare dishes to agreed standards

Your working hours

• Sports Café is open 7 days a week from 9am to 11pm
• Full-time contract, with shifts falling between 8am and midnight
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday

About you
