Center Parcs Longford Forest is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager / Senior Chef de Partie to support the Kitchen Manager in delivering outstanding food quality and service. This role leads a busy kitchen team, manages costs, and ensures compliance with safety standards within budget.

The position is full-time, with a guaranteed 150 hours over a 4‑week period, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Benefits include leisure access and potential bonuses.

Formación

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a high‑volume operation.
• Strong stock control, scheduling and waste management.
• Experience as Chef de Partie or higher.
• Excellent communication and time management under pressure.

Join our team as an Assistant Kitchen Manager, supporting the Kitchen Manager in delivering exceptional food quality and service. You'll help lead the kitchen team, ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain operational efficiency within budget.

• Control food costs and margins to meet budget targets
• Maintain high food quality and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and prepare dishes to agreed standards

Your working hours

• Full-time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday

About you

• Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
• Good financial awareness, including stock control, scheduling and waste management
• Previous experience in a supervisory chef role (Chef de Partie or above)
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills under pressure
