Zusammenfassung

The Wright Group is seeking an experienced Assistant GM to lead a busy venue in Liffey Valley. You will work with a great team, ensuring the guest experience and operational excellence.

This senior supervisory role involves coaching, rostering, controlling costs, and maintaining health and safety standards. You will deputise for the manager as needed and support recruitment and development across our venues.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality/retail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, health and safety and licensing requirements.
• Experience in rosters, costs and performance conversations.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach and roster the team to ensure consistent guest experience.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure safety and licensing compliance.
• Manage staffing levels, attendance and performance.
• Support recruitment, induction and development of team members.
• Monitor costs against unit targets (labour, stock, wastage).
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Act as key holder and ensure the unit is opened/closed and secured.
• Escalate issues to senior management/HR as appropriate.
• Guide junior colleagues on shift and deputise for the manager when needed.
