Job summary

Apex Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to deliver accurate financial reporting, robust balance sheet control and meaningful monthly analysis for two regional businesses.

The role suits a qualified or near-qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and collaborates closely with senior stakeholders to drive financial performance and process improvements across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified or near-qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in financial accounting and month-end reporting in corporate or professional services.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist Head of Finance - Ireland with intercompany and regulatory reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for two entities.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and external auditors as finance partner.
• Identify, implement and document process improvements and controls.
