PHX Ireland Group is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team, supporting monthly management accounts, inter-company transactions, and group reporting. You will help prepare budgets, perform variance analyses, and coordinate with auditors across McCabes Pharmacy and related divisions.

In this role you’ll work with Cognos and SAP BW for monthly reporting, apply IFRS16 lease accounting, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, retail pharmacy environment that values

Formación

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).
• A relevant third level business qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Strong technical skills.
• SAP experience would be desirable.
• Experience with IFRS16 and accounting for leases would be desirable.
• Previous experience in retail FMCG or preferably retail pharmacy would be desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Ownership of elements of the monthly management accounts, quarterly reporting and inter-company accounting.
• Active role in submission of monthly group reporting requirements via Cognos and SAP BW.
• Participation in the preparation of the annual budget & re-forecasting.
• Preparation of monthly variance analysis and review against forecasted and budgeted targets.
• Regular attendance at inter-departmental meetings.
• Liaising with auditors and other professional advisors.
• Proactively identifying areas for process improvements.
• Active participation in ad-hoc projects.
