Qualifications

• Qualified or near-qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong experience in financial accounting and month-end reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Proficient with Excel; ERP systems experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Finance – Ireland to manage relationships between local operations and the regional finance team.
• Assist the Head of Finance - Ireland in the day-to-day management of the Manco Finance team (multi-jurisdictional).
• Review P&L, revenue figures and balance sheet against prior month, YTD and budget; identify variances and explain rationale.
• Ensure accuracy of intercompany recharges and proper recording.
• Oversee the Finance accruals process and validate data with Operations.
• Lead preparation of annual statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
• Deliver accurate month-end close with journals, accruals, prepayments and revenue entries.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts with robust supporting documentation.
• Produce monthly management reporting with variance commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with historical data and insights.
• Act as finance business partner to local operations for efficient service.
• Lead year-end audits and improve financial controls and processes.
