Job summary

Little Harvard Childcare in Rathfarnham is seeking an experienced Assistant Creche Manager to support the Centre Manager and help run our early years centre.

You will lead the team, ensure regulatory compliance, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to curriculum planning and audits while stepping into leadership when needed.

Qualifications

Experience leading a team in an early years setting.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
Ability to work in a busy environment with professionalism.

What You’ll Do

Support the Centre Manager in daily operations
Lead, mentor, and motivate the team
Ensure compliance with Tusla, ECCE, and other regulations
Build strong relationships with families
Assist with administration, rosters, audits, and curriculum planning
Step into leadership when needed

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level 7+ a bonus)
Leadership or senior educator experience
Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and best practice in early years education
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Calm, proactive, and confident in a busy environment
