Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to lead the Bar department and guide the team to achieve operational and financial targets. You will report to the Bar Manager and Food & Beverage Manager, oversee staffing, events and budget management to ensure exceptional service.

The role emphasizes people leadership, recruitment and development, plus maintaining high standards and customer focus in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Food & Beverage management role in a leading hotel.
• Experience in large conferences and events is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent Leadership skills.
• Experience in recruiting and developing employees.
• High standards and attention to detail.
• An excellent focus on our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bar department and execute the strategy to achieve goals.
• People leadership, including recruiting, retaining and developing employees.
• Set targets for the Bar team in line with the overall departmental and hotel strategy.
• Support/oversee events in the hotel to ensure excellence in service at all times.
• Manage the budget and cost-effectiveness of the department.

Reporting to the Bar Manager & Food and Beverage Manager, the Assistant Bar Manager will lead the operational & financial success of the Bar function.
