Job summary

Noel Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support financial reporting, controls and management accounting across multiple hotel operations in Dublin. This is a collaborative finance role with clear progression toward more senior positions.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will assist with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis while maintaining robust controls and data integrity. Hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
• Assist in maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring data accuracy.

Job description

We are partnering with a well-established hospitality group to recruit a an Assistant Accountant who will play a key role in financial reporting, controls, management accounting, and business support across multiple hotel operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified finance professional to join a collaborative finance team and gain exposure to a broad remit within a fast-paced commercial environment. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate will support financial operations across the group, with a primary focus on one flagship hotel while also contributing across the wider business. The role offers a clear long-term progression pathway towards Financial Controller.

Responsibilities Include

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
• Assist in the maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring data accuracy.
• Partnering with operational teams and supporting audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Professionally part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification).
• Previous experience within hospitality (or similar) environment.
• Experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Working and Living in Dublin – visa sponsorship not provided.
