Killashee Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking an Assistant Accommodation Manager to support the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping Department and lead a team to deliver high standards of guest care.

The successful candidate will have previous hotel housekeeping or supervisory experience, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate staff; weekend and shift flexibility is required. We offer benefits and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Accommodation Manager with day-to-day housekeeping operations.
• Supervise, support and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Allocate duties and assist with staff rotas.
• Conduct regular room and public-area inspections for high standards.
• Ensure bedrooms are cleaned and prepared efficiently and on time.
• Monitor stock of linen and cleaning products; assist with ordering.
• Handle guest requests, queries and complaints professionally.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Maintain health, safety and hotel procedures; manage records.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Accommodation Manager with the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping Department.
• Supervise, support, and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Allocate daily duties and assist with staff rotas and scheduling.
• Carry out regular room and public-area inspections to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Ensure bedrooms are cleaned and prepared efficiently and on time.
• Monitor linen, amenities, cleaning products, and other department stock.
• Assist with ordering and stock control.
• Deal professionally with guest requests, queries, and complaints.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and hotel procedures are followed.
• Assist with maintaining housekeeping records and departmental administration.
• Provide support and cover for the Accommodation Manager when required.

The successful candidate will ideally have:
