Job summary

Citi Dublin is seeking a dedicated professional for an Operations – Transaction Services role within Asset Servicing. You will handle client queries related to Corporate Actions or Income events and nurture client relationships while ensuring high-quality service and risk controls.

The position offers a hybrid working model (up to 2 days at home per week) and a competitive base salary with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing role, basic to intermediate.
• In-depth knowledge of securities processing and industry standards.
• Communicates with tact and diplomacy, especially with potentially sensitive information.
• Able to resolve most problems independently.
• Has latitude to resolve complex issues related to asset servicing and custody activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming customer queries related to Corporate Action or Income events.
• Maintaining and progressing Customer relationships – understanding client issues and helping manage resolutions.
• Develops client specific service solutions and maintains quality control.
• Understanding complex customer queries and managing through a high level of productivity.
• Minimises risk to the bank through the appropriate application of procedural requirements and adherence to audit and control policies.
• Participates in compliance related procedures and controls activities.
• Continuously looks for and designs business required documents to reduce the number of manual touch points improve efficiency.
• Works closely with peers and product to develop solutions that will enable team to meet the mission statements of the department and create dynamic MIS.
• Maintains awareness of product changes and system enhancements.
• Assists team member during periods of high volume work, provides back-up coverage, and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
