ummary: The Asset Care Manager at ESS is a key player in a team of skilled professionals providing customer support to a variety of ESS clients. This role focuses on managing asset care projects at customer sites, blending contract management with asset care consultancy. The Asset Care Manager will lead a team of specialists, maintain customer relationships, and contribute to company growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing existing contracts and developing proposals.
Role Overview:
- As a member of the ESS extended leadership team, the Asset Care Manager is accountable for specific projects within the Asset Care area and managing specific contracts in the Outsourcing area.
- Growing the Asset Care consultancy through strong customer relationship management and providing valued services to all customers (existing, new, and internal).
- Maximise the business performance of out-sourced client sites, for both operational and commercial aspects;
- Ensuring integrated support across the business to foster a cohesive, cross-functional team culture.
- Travel may be necessary depending on contract or project responsibilities.
- Innovating new ESS products to drive growth in the Asset Care business unit.
- Collaborating with the training unit to identify, develop, and deliver specific training programs.
- Have responsibility for nominated specific cross functional programs within ESS, (e.g. Quality, ISO systems etc.)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead specific projects within the Asset Care area and manage specific contracts in the Outsourcing area.
- Grow the Asset Care consultancy through strong customer relationship management and providing valued services to all customers (existing, new, and internal).
- Accountable for the commercial and operational performance of out-sourced client sites, ensuring the appropriate focus is applied to ensure maximum business performance;
- Supporting out-sourced employee performance, development, and well-being;
- Innovate new ESS products to drive growth in the Asset Care business unit.
- Collaborate with the Training unit to identify, develop, and deliver specific training programs.
- Participate in company initiatives for growth and development; drive continuous improvement across the business.
- Take responsibility for specific cross-functional programs within ESS (e.g., Quality, ISO systems).
- Assist the ESS team to meet objectives and grow their competence, skills, and experience.
- Develop relevant procedures, guides and training documentation;
- Develop project plans and projections to manage workload and customer expectations.
- Travel may be required
- Provide periodic reports on project of contract performance.
- Communicate with customers and manage their expectations.
- Ensure standards for employee performance is communicated and maintained across client sites;
- Develop solutions for complex customer situations to meet their goals.
- Tendering of new opportunities; Participate in proposal and business development calls with internal consultants and customers.
- Attend networking events and promote the ESS brand.
- Adhere to professional standards and maintain strict customer confidentiality.
- Ensure integrated support across the business to foster a cohesive, cross-functional team culture.
Education / Experience :
- Engineering Qualification - Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
- Experience within a service delivery environment an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Proven experience within a business development environment
Note : Must have full clean driving license and be eligible to work in Ireland
