Job summary

Mad Brothers Limited, trading as Mad Brothers, seeks a Baker to specialise in Brazilian cakes, desserts, and confectionery products at our Dublin kitchen.

You will bake Brazilian-style cakes, decorate, and manage fillings and toppings, working a 39-hour week at 17 Nephin Road, Dublin. The role requires baking experience, knowledge of techniques, and strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Baker.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, baking, decorating, and finishing cakes and desserts.
• Producing Brazilian-style birthday cakes and specialty pastries.
• Preparing fillings, toppings, doughs, creams, and confectionery products.
• Designing and decorating custom cakes according to customer requirements.
• Maintaining consistency and quality standards in all products.
• Managing ingredient preparation and stock rotation. Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
• Following all food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Assisting with menu development and seasonal products.
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
• Maintaining an organized and efficient workstation.
