Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland in Dublin is seeking a Senior Engineer, AI to join on a permanent basis. You will become the subject matter expert for AI development in the organization, shaping architecture and strategy across multiple business units.

You will lead PoC trials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor engineers while driving enterprise AI initiatives within an established market leader.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development or architecture.
• 3-4+ years in senior or management roles.
• Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions.
• Strong Python programming background.
• Experience with Gen AI and intelligent systems (LLM, RAG, agents).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the AI architecture and standards.
• Lead the overall AI strategy and roadmap.
• Research AI tools to solve business problems.

For this role they are looking for an individual who has experience in AI as it's a major part of the role and journey this company are on

You will be part of a growing team and be the subject matter expert for AI Development in Dublin The position is with a well established company who are a market leader in their sector.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the AI architecture and standards
• Lead on the overall AI strategy, roadmap
• Research the relevant AI tools to solve specific business problems
• Lead on the proof-of-concept (PoC) trials for new technologies and manage relationships with AI vendors and consultants.
• Design and deliver AI, automation, and data solutions across various departments in the company.
• Cross collaboration and engagement is a key skill
• Integrate AI capabilities into ERP, APIs, and enterprise platforms
• Establish ethical, secure, and GDPR‑compliant AI guardrails
• Leadership in a hands-on and highly technical role
• Manage and mentor a team and help to hire

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development or architecture experience, with at least 3-4 years in senior or management level roles
• Have significant experience architecting and building enterprise-wide cloud-native solutions.
• Programming skills and a background in Python
• Ideally have exposure to projects for Digital Transformation
• Gen AI and Intelligent systems that include LLM, RAG and Agentic
• AI Hands on experience with Gen AI systems would be an advantage
