Senior AI Engineer | Agentic AI, LLMs & Python

I'm currently recruiting for a Senior AI Engineer to join an established technology team focused on developing innovative AI solutions and enterprise-scale applications.

This opportunity is suited to someone with a strong software engineering or Machine Learning Engineering background, combining hands-on technical expertise with technical leadership experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Agentic AI applications, LLM-based solutions, and advanced Machine Learning systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML solutions to support business requirements.
• Architect and build Agentic AI applications using established design patterns and best practices.
• Develop and integrate LLM-based applications and intelligent AI systems.
• Lead technical design, research, brainstorming, and innovation initiatives.
• Contribute hands-on to Python development and production-grade software engineering.

Required Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Python and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience developing Agentic AI applications and AI Agents.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and AI/ML engineering.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as Strands or similar.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI design patterns, AgentOps, validation, and evaluation.
• Experience building and deploying Machine Learning models using frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar.
• Experience with enterprise MLOps/LLMOps tooling.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
• Strong programming fundamentals and experience building production-grade applications.
• A combination of hands-on technical expertise and technical leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and present solutions to varied audiences.
